To mark the first anniversary of Pran Pratistha or the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has planned three-day celebrations, starting January 11.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya took place on January 22 this year, which was “Paush Shukla Dwadashi” as per the Hindu calendar. In 2025, it would fall on January 11. The three-day celebrations will be called Pratishtha Dwadashi.
“For the three-day celebrations, we have decided to send special invites to all those saints, who could not be invited or could not come for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The work for shortlisting the names has begun. The responsibility has been given to All India Dharmacharya Sampark Pramukh Ashok Tiwari,” said a Trust member.
These events and celebrations would take place at five places within temple premises.
“These will include Yagna Mandap programmes, where aahuti will be offered to the Fire God. Then, Shri Ram Mantra Jap Yagya will also be performed in two sessions alongside, while six lakh mantras will be chanted in three days. Then, there will be the recitation of Ram Raksha Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa, Purush Sukta, Shri Sukta, Aditya Hridya Stotra, Atharvashirsha,” said Champat Rai, the general secretary of the Trust.
